In brief

"Poles are no geese..."

The only known contemporary press coverage of µOS is a review in the "Laboratorium" section of Enter magazine, issue 3/1996 (no. 61, published March 1996), titled "Polacy nie gęsi..." ("Poles are no geese...") — a reference to a well-known 16th-century Polish literary line boasting about the richness of the Polish language.

The reviewer praised the software's ease of use and efficient memory footprint, while criticizing its lack of network resource support and a controversial anti-piracy scheme that could, in the event of illegal copying, destroy data on the disk.
